Sahyadrisindia - SYS Event 3 - Computer Aided LiteracyThis is a school based program which caters to school going children from 6 -16 age group studying in Government Higher Primary School, Valur, Sagar taluk of Shimoga district. Realizing the potential benefits of using educational technologies side-by-side classroom teaching environment, team Sahyadri recently introduced a new scheme to school children at an early age and their teachers various computer based tools and techniques to facilitate competency based learning, classroom teaching, teaching material development, student-record management and content collection through online sources. It is expected that this IT awareness/education program will benefit all the 32 students studying in Government Higher Primary School, Valur, Sagar taluk of Shimoga district between the age group of 6 and 16. Team Sahyadri proudly announces that it has adopted a Government School in Sagar Taluk of Shimoga District to uplift the schooling standards of 32 children studying in various standards. Recently an act of charity was conducted in the way of distribution of School Bags, Stationeries, Note books etc for students of Government Higher Primary School situated in Valur village, Sagar Taluk of Shimoga District, Karnataka State.
